Toby Dutt specialises in Muscle, Tendon, Ligament and Nerve issues as a Musculoskeletal Pain and Injury Physiologist applying Biomechanics and Soft Tissue Rehabilitation from a practical hands on approach, with almost 30 years of experience in successfully treating the Musculoskeletal issues.

As well as running his private practice since 1996, Toby has also worked for Hertfordshire Constabulary since 2001 running the Injury Rehabilitation Unit at the Police Headquarters, Occupational Health Department, under Human Resources, where he assessed officers and staff for fitness and coordinated the physiotherapy referrals for the County, as well as projects, where he was Clinical lead for Uniform and Equipment.

Toby graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sport Science Physiology & Biomechanics, from the University of Bedfordshire, after achieving London School of Sports Massage (LSSM), Sports Therapy Diploma at Regents University, London.

As a Clinician, Toby is fully trained and qualified in Electrotherapy with the use of Low Level Laser, Ultrasound, Interferential, Electromagnetic Pulsed Shortwave Therapies, Medical Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Sports Cupping,, Orthotics and Kinesiology Taping.

Toby proceeds to complete further professional qualifications with a continued progressive development to enhance treatment options to benefit the healing potential for patients and further his skill level.

He is well versed in Exercise Prescription for Strength and Conditioning, together with Body Flexibility (stretching), enabling him to provide tailored programmes for a wide range of abilities in the Injury Rehabilitation Wellness Studio attached to the Clinic.

With the extensive experience of 14 years in Occupational Health, it enables him to offer a wide range of disciplines and deliver general Educational Lectures on Ailments, Injury Prevention and Back Care, together with providing professional evidence based Injury Reports. This includes Return to Work, assessing to recommend Restricted or Recuperative Working or Return to Training, inclusive of Graded Return.

Toby is also a National Sports Coach (Karate 7th Dan Black Belt) certified under the UK Coaching, previously known as the National Coaching Foundation, and is a Home Office approved Training Instructor, fully qualified in Physical Fitness through Musculoskeletal and Cardiovascular Rehabilitation. He is currently working towards Chartered Scientist status.
